Call me a sentimentalist, but this movie sucker-punched me to tears.  It is cornpone start to finish, with a plot as implausible as most

Hollywood fare, but the earthy decency of Stallone’s Rocky Balboa, and a credible fight scene to end it, makes you want to suspend all the disbelief necessary for the fairy tale to work.
